I am going to get fit in 2011!
Well, swimming works nearly all the muscles in your body and
it is a good cardiovascular sport.
I am going to make more friends, this year!
Joining a swimming club is good for you socially. You will have something in common with your friends and you will have a common goal, as you swim in galas for your club. You will experience new confidence and self-worth.
I am going to get fitter for tennis and hockey, this year!
Swimming can complement your other sports, providing you with more strength and discipline.
I am going to make more leisure time for me in 2011, as I was so stressed out last year, through work!
Swimming is also a marvellous stress release, after a hard day’s work. Lane swimming provides time to meditate and problem-solve, leaving you refreshed and ready to face new challenges.
I am going to lose the weight I gained over the festive season!
Swimming is an excellent way to burn off those few calories enhanced by Christmas pud. Not only do you lose the calories but you hone the muscles, looking sleek and fit, more quickly.
I want to be team captain.
Swimming provides one with all sorts of life-skills. Time management, goal-setting, confidence and self-discipline, are some of the important skills required to achieve leadership of any nature. Swimming for a club, helps you achieve such skills!
I used to swim and I would like to get back into it, but how?
Join a friendly little swimming club, like Honiton. There are plenty of friendly swimmers, doing exactly the same thing. They will show you the way.
I have finished swimming lessons and I want to make the leap into a swimming club.
