Marchant seals Division One success at Honiton

Honiton’s monthly medal day, everybody’s least favourite competition, but a true test of the art of golf, writes Andy Wagner.

Division One seems to have found it a test this week with John Marchant’s two over par nett 71 bagging him first place.

Neil Pulman was close behind with a 72 and Mike Drew third with a nett 73.

Division Two played nearer to par with first place going to Bob Hill’s nett 68.

Andy Wagner took second with nett 69 ahead of Bob Cleal on count back.
