Last Thursday the Lyme Regis ladies’ did battle with the elements again for the Morning Cup and also the 36-hole Championship, writes Andrew Jackman.

Sassy Hay won the Morning Cup with a net 70 from Melissa McMahon 75.

The Turner Denham Scratch Trophy was won by Melissa McMahon with a gross 155 from Jane Southcombe on 166.

The Wellings Salver Handicap Trophy was landed by Di Smith on 152 from Melissa McMahon on 155. Jane Broom improved her score by 12 shots in the afternoon to win the Scotts Trophy.
