Millwey Rise FC youth section holding Open Day on June 9

Millwey Rise Football Club has a thriving junior section and they have a special Open Day taking place early next month.
Saturday June 9, is the date and the even takes place at Cloakham Lawns, Chard Rd, Axminster, running from 10am to noon.
Millwey Rise are already running teams at U10, U13, U14 and U16 as well as a girls’ U14 team.
Head of youth coaching Dan Murnane is also keen to get across that the club would be very happy to set up new teams if sufficient numbers of youngsters come forward. The Open Day is therefore targeted at all young footballers, boys and girls from the age of five to 15 and all comers will be made very welcome at the June 9 event.
There will be qualified FA coaches available and there’s set to be both a barbecue and refreshments available.
