At their recent AGM Mark Turner, a former Youth Team Manager and son of Millwey Rise President Tony Turner, was elected to manage the senior team in the coming campaign. Terry Male will continue as reserve team Manager.
Training sessions will begin at 11am Saturday on July 17 and 6.30pm on Tuesday, July 20. All new players who would like to participate are welcome to join the sessions at Cloakham.
The Millwey Rise first-team finished the revised season in Division 2 East of the Devon and Exeter League with an impressive fourth place, just behind Cranbrook in third and the top two of Ottery St Mary Reserves and Axminster Town Reserves.
Like all clubs in local football, Millwey will be planning a rigorous pre-season campaign in readiness for what will hopefully be a full season of football with, Covid permitting, no interruptions.
