Millwey Rise Under-14s secured back-to-back Dorset Youth League promotions after they clinched the Division Three title with a 7-1 success over Bere Regis.
Thomas Lambert took the goal scoring honours with a hat-trick and the other goals came from Jacob Hale (2), Bailey Hall and Brooklyn Wilkins.
The season is not yet over for the youngsters for they have a League Cup quarter final this coming Sunday (March 26) when they are in action at Division One Lychett and Upton.
Craig Mitchell, the tam’s manager, says: “Regardless of what happens on Sunday, I could not be prouder of the whole team and their achievements this season.
“To continue this year where we left off last season speaks volumes for their commitment and quality. The lads are a pleasure to work with and I am already looking forward to the fresh challenges that a season in Division Two is likely to bring.”
