Honiton were like rabbits in headlights for the first 10 minutes with Okehampton quickly going one up. However, the Dimonds soon took charge of the play in midfield with stronger running and rucking providing platforms for try after try.

The third quarter saw the home side starting to pass the ball around and create overlaps for more impressive tries and extending the score significantly.

Going into the last period, Okehampton found some energy and with a few great individual performances manage to pull a couple back, however the earlier damage couldn’t be repaired and the Dimonds came away with a 75-40 win

The club awards went to George I for his continued defensive brick wall, Finlay for his awareness and selfless attacking runs creating tries and clubman award went to William in only his second outing for the Dimonds, putting in great strong runs, excellent position play and even bagging a try.
