Seaton A 2, Seaton Stars 2
What a lovely result for the two local teams. Seaton Stars were the host and both teams started with a fierce and competitive spirit. Thomas Bush was good in defence and missed a good opportunity within the first moments of the game. The first half ended at 0-0.
First to score for the stars was Fraser Beament and,within seconds, Oliver Browne for the As, came back to equalise. The flow of the game was brilliant with excellent performances from all. The second goal for the As was scored by Sam Sparkes. Lewis Pearson hit the post three times but it was not his day for the scoresheet however, his midfield play alongside Lewis Franklin was brilliant.
Unlucky for the As, a small lapse at the end gave Fraser for the Stars another goal. Praise all round to all the players on each team as next week they clash again. Man of the Match was Lewis Pearson.
