AVR Cliff Marriott ran the Benfleet 15, a challenging multi-terrain single lap course starting in Hadleigh Country Park.The route takes runners through the undulating Hadleigh Downs. Cliff completed the very muddy route in 2 hrs 30 min. 

Three AVR’s took part in the Dawlish Coasters organised Oh My Obelisk! This is a trail half marathon with over 1,500 feet of climb starting from Dawlish Leisure Centre and heading out towards the eastern part of Haldon Forest. At roughly the half way point you round the ‘Obelisk’ before descending back to Dawlish.  

There was also a nine-mile option missing out the Obelisk section. Ron Seward completed the nine-miler in 1:27:12  finishing 28th. In the half marathon, Rob Collier completed in 1:35:43 in 13th and 3rd M50 and Andy West finished 105th in 2:05:00. 

Jack Broom won the latest Seaton parkrun in 16:39, with AVR Joel Seward 2nd, 17:11 and Ritchie Durrant of Pure endurance Triathletes 3rd, 17:57.
