Awliscombe’s Pete Nelson struck a stunning goal, to ensure his side shared the spoils with hosts Westexe Rovers.
The Awls trailed 3-2 in Tiverton and were staring defeat in the face until Nelson picked the ball up some thirty yards from goal and unleashed a wonderful strike that flew into the top corner.
Man of the Match Sam Tennant struck the first Awls goal shortly after half-time when he was picked out by a superb cross from Ben Gay.
Tennant then returned the complement to set Gay up for then second just after the hour and then it fell to Nelson to ensure the trip home was a happy one!
This Saturday the Awls host East Budleigh Reserves in a Division Six game.
