Honiton Netball League recently held their AGM and presentation night.

The event was well attended and was a great way to end a very successful year with the addition of a new junior league.

The trophies were presented by Jan Howard, Chairman of East Devon County Netball Association.

A big thank you must go to trophy sponsor, Sean Kelly, of Tip Top Trees for the U16 trophies, The Bed Expert, who sponsored the Fair Play award, and Axminster Carpets who sponsored the Umpire of the Year award.

Chairman Jenny Kelly and the rest of the committee are looking forward to the 2008/09 season as it is the league's 30th anniversary and some exciting events are on the way.

If you are interested in playing netball at senior or junior level, or you are a business who would like to sponsor the league, or if you used to play in the league - especially when it first started - then please contact Jenny Kelly (01404) 47103 for more information.

Many thanks to Graham Ingram for reporting the leagues each week.
