New captains drive in at Lyme

After a cold start and showers of light rain, the sun came out for the ladies’ Bowmaker, conditions improved and the later players had the advantage of warmer, drier conditions.
Results: 1, Julia Collins, Jane Dixon, Di Smith 86pts ocb; 2, Ros Cox, Linda Richmond, Rosemary Dare 86pts; 3, Linda Bass, Felicity Horton, Angie Clark 85pts.
Captains’ Drive-In.
Sunday saw the newly-elected captains take part in the annual Drive-In.
Julia Collins did a respectable drive up the first fairway to the crack of a large firework which was let off in the hope of distracting her.
