The Studland Stampede is a truly amazing run in some of the best scenery in the UK and always enjoyed by the HRC runners that attend, writes Judy Davey.

This year there were nine of them. Mark Newson led them home. Howard Bidmead thoroughly enjoyed the run and finished next following a battle with Richard Harris, who finished just behind with Roger Saunders not far behind either. Pippa Westall was pleased with her great run. Janice Newson was next, followed by Anne Carter and Asilah Jarrald. Asilah was running with a heavy cold and she and Anne ran together. Teresa Pollard followed running with a group of friends, but all the Stampede runners did the club proud.
