Offwell Rangers went down 3-1 at Central.
The result was a blow to Rangers who had won nine of their previous ten outings!
Andrew ‘Smoo’ Wall scored the Rangers goal with a stunning 30-yard strike, but that’s as good as it got in an all-round under-par performance.
Rangers’ boss Scott Phillips said: “The team have hopefully learnt a valuable lesson in this performance in Exeter. You cannot just turn up and win games. Our usual hard work, patience with the ball and desire to be first to the ball was absent without leave! I was very disappointed with the performance, but so were the lads post match as they all know they are better than that. A positive to draw is that it was probably a lesson we needed and I am certain we’ll bounce back – and quickly.”
On Saturday Rangers travel to Cheriton Fitzpaine.
