Offwell Rangers begin their pre-season work this week.

The first of the summer sessions takes place tonight (Wednesday) with a 6.30pm start.

There is no charge for the training sessions and all are welcome to join in at Offwell Rcereational Ground.

Scott Phillips is the new man at the helm. He says: “After enjoying the last two seasons with Honiton I heard that Rangers were looking for a manager or the club was going to fold. After spending over ten years palying for Offwell when my dad was manager, I could not watch the club fold and decided it was time to go into management and try and bring back the success my dad had at the club.”

Phillips and his Offwell Rangers side will begin the coming season in Division Seven of the Fresha Devon and Exeter League.

Phillips says: “The plan going forward is to move back up the division’s and return this club to where I feel it belongs! I am also keen for us to have some fun along the way and we will mix serious industry with plenty of fun too!”
