Yarcombe and Stockland closed to within ten points of E Division leaders Babbacombe with a 64 run win at Chardstock.
Dave Patch top scored with 53 in the Yarcombe offering of 165-9.
Chardstock skipper James Hayden claimed 4-44 and there was a splendid nine overs from Ian Blackwell that saw him return the eye-catching figures of 1-3!
The skipper then struck his side’s top score of 18 not out as wickets tumbled at regular intervals.
Stuart Parris chipped in with 15, but the final wicket was lost with the reply on 101 leaving Yarcombe comfortable winners.
On Saturday Yarcombe travel to Cheriton Fitzpaine whilst Chardstock journey to Kingskerswell.
