Despite the cold weather and temporary greens the Lyme Regis February stableford went ahead as planned, writes Richard Jackman.

It proved to be Graham Paterson who mastered the conditions best, taking first place with 40 points whilst the 39 points from John Yorke was good enough to beat Andrew Thomas on countback.

The ladies enjoyed relatively good weather for their February stableford and Felicity Poole took full advantage to win the silver division with 33 points from Di Smith with 32, who just beat Susan Moore on countback.

Highest score of the day went to the ever improving Kim Beauchamp who won the bronze division with a clear cut margin scoring 36 points, ahead of Felicity Horton, 32, with Julia Coote, with 31, in third.
