Another very hot morning, away at Cullompton against local Mid Devon side, Exeter Culme Vale Hornets, who certainly buzzed the visiting Honiton side, scoring six goals before the half time whistle blew. Two of the goals were deflections off Honiton defenders' sticks.

Following Cullompton's second goal Sophie George took a penalty corner pass from Jean Herniman and fired a splendid first shot at goal, which was so forceful that the ball became stuck in the corner of the goal!

The second half was far closer and it was not until the final seconds that the home side scored again - from a penalty corner.

Player of the Match: Amy Phillips, who was also the heroine last week.
