Another excellent performance by Millwey Rise Reserves saw them defeat visiting Tedburn St Mary 6-1 to bring a very satisfactory end to the first half of the current season, writes Dick Sturch.
By half-time Danny Larcombe with the opener and Mark Pike with two goals put them into a 3-0 lead. The second period saw much the same with Millwey dominant in all departments. Chris Lusby scored two further goals and Pike completed his hat-trick before Tedburn had a late consolation goal for their efforts.
The score line could have been far greater as Millwey created chance after chance in a very positive display of attacking football. In defence they were sound with central defender Stuart King designated the winner of the Man of the Match award.
