Honiton Town 2, Seaton Town 2 Seaton Town Under-15s recovered from a two goal half-time deficit to deservedly bag a share of the spoils in an entertaining derby match.

An interval chat with the coach clearly had an effect on Seaton for once the second half began they had an extra stride in their step.

Brandon Curl ensured that Honiton’s main striker was denied time and space to do any further damage and the midfield trio of Jacob Rowe, Tony Pinder and Matty Vincent took control of the middle third to begin to get good supply to the forwards and from one such sortie Pete Smith scored. Soon after it was 2-2 with Max Richardson the scorer.

Both teams went in search of a winner on a surface that made passing difficult owing to the length of the grass! Neither side deserved to lose and a draw was a fair outcome.

Tony Pinder was named the Seaton Man of the Match.
