Upottery produced a superb second half show to win 4-3 at Lympstone.
A Catalan Pislaru goal separated the sides at half-time. Pislaru then bagged another and Charlie Lane struck twice as the villagers opened a 4-1 lead before the Lympets netted two late goals.
Keith Lane was the Upottery Man of the Match. A delighted boss, Dan Prettejohn said: “Given that we were without three regulars this was a tremendous effort. We played well and fully deserved to nail the points.”
On Saturday Upottery make the short trip to Colaton Raleigh for another East Devon derby.
