Hannah Pullinger, 16, focused her energies on the 50m breaststroke event hoping to gain a new regional qualifying time, and although she had to wait until the last heat of the last event to swim, she smashed her previous best time to achieve a new regional time in 36.46, the gold medal and meet record for her age group, and also the club open record for the event.

Other medal positions went to Lauren Harrison, 15, who picked up silver in the 800 freestyle, and another silver went to Melissa Hanson in the 100 backstroke. Eleven-year-old Tamsin Edge secured two bronze medals in the 50 and 200 breaststroke events, and Joe Spurway 14 won bronze in the 400 freestyle.
