Following the bitterly cold wind for the captain’s drive-in on Sunday, Monday had warm sunshine, and on Tuesday the rain arrived with mist and fog closing the course, writes John Pawley.
The men’s Tuesday roll-up group had a curtailed morning while the mixed group never even got out! However, most of the field congregated in the club house for coffee and took the opportunity to present Paul Ritchie with the 2016 Tuesday Mixed Player of the Year trophy.
Having won more times during the year than anyone else, Paul was very pleased to receive the prize from last years winner, wife Sue Ritchie. It’s becoming a family tradition.
