Ritchie storms to Honiton ladies stableford success

Honiton ladies were able to enjoy somewhat more clement conditions than recently for their monthly stableford that saw 40 players involved.

There were 14 competing in the Silver Division, a dozen in the Bronze Division One and 14 in Bronze Division Two.

Such meetings are counted as non-qualifiers in the winter months so results do not affect handicaps.

Sue Ritchie came in with a barnstorming 39 points to win Silver Division, followed by Ann Trayling with 37 points and Chris Pearce with 36.

In Bronze Division One Ann Desmoulins took the honours on countback from Penny Blackburn after they both scored 33 points and in Bronze Division Two the honours went to Linda McLaughlin with 36 points with Jan Portlock (30 points) claiming second place on countback from Di Wall (30 points).
