Ron takes a trophy at the Egdon Easy

Ron Seward journeyed to Weymouth to take part in the Egdon Easy, a 10km run around the tarmac and gravel footpaths that encircle Lodmoor Park. Ron finished 91st out of 302 in 47:52, coming away with a delightful trophy having finished first in the MV70 category.
Before Richard Hale resumes his Fell Racing in the Brecon Beacons, he ran the Treforest 10K in Wales, with 278 crossing the finish line that included 13 MV 70. Richard finished strongly, 172nd, 3rd MV 70 in 55:13.
Eleanor Wood ran the Hellstone half marathon at Long Bredy in Dorset. The route was beautiful, as were the views. Her time was 2:08:05 and she was 7th lady, 20th out of 133 runners. This was a well organised run by Badger Trail with great hospitality afterwards.
AVR’s Joel Seward Jamie won the latest Seaton parkrun in 17:00 with Jamie Pullinger of SWRR 2nd, 17:13 and Bob Tinsley 3rd, 17:37.
