Round up of junior football results
Seaton A beat Axminster Town 8-4, fighting back from a brilliant start by Axminster which saw them 3-0 up early on, writes Andrew Franklin.
Oliver Browne came back with a fantastic shot to get the first goal on the sheet for Seaton. This started a brilliant chain of events and Sam Sparkes was next to score, followed quickly by Max Richardson.
Axminster caught Seaton offside on quite a few occasions but at half time, after a fantastic goal scored from a Lewis Pearson corner, the score was 4-3 to Seaton.
The A team came back determined to out do their school friends and, within minutes, Ollie Caute showed his capability and scored twice. Browne scored his second before Axminster came back with a penalty.
Seaton didn’t give up and Lewis Cottam made the score 8-4. The team’s practice and perseverance during the summer has really paid off.
