It has been a better week for Feniton bowlers, as the mixed team won their East of Exe match against Hemyock by a single shot, 60-59. The winning rink was Jan Holmes, A Murdoch, John Holmes and K Lovering 26-6.
The men’s County Trophy team defeated Ottery St Mary 84-67. The winning rinks were T Cox, G Phillips, R Clarke and A Smith 25-13, P Eels, A Murdoch, T Kury and B Cann 23-16 and D Sanders, J Livings, J Skinner and P Bright 21-15.
The Ladies narrowly lost to Seaton Reds in the Ladies Triples League by 33-37. The winning rink was J Smith, A Coyne and D Phillips 17-13.
n the men’s over 60s Triples League, the Falcons won away at Morchard Bishop by 35-24. The winning rinks were R Lovering, D Coyne and R Clarke14-9 and J Q Navarro, D Conbeer and M Whitcombe 21-15. However, the Hawks lost to Pinces Gardens by 21-43.
