Honiton Hawks see off Cully as Hansford scores seven tries

There were tries galore when Honiton Hawks Under-7’s entertained Cullompton.

The Hawks came out on top in all four matches.

Another good turn out saw each club field two teams of five.

The first game resulted in a 10-3 win for Hawks with Harry Haysom and Oliver Beer each bagging a hat-trick of tries and there were two each for Harry Evans and Luke Devin.

Game two produced a 6-3 success with Arran Hansford scoring a hat-trick. Archie Trott bagged a brace and there was also a try from Taylor Prettijohn. Game three was a closer affair with Honiton edging it by the odd try in 17! Harry Haysom, Oliver Beer and Harry Evans each scored a hat-trick of tries in this meeting.

The final match of the morning saw Hawks secure a resounding 13-3 win. The undoubted star of this match was Arran Hansford who crossed for no fewer than seven tries! Archie Trott crossed the Cully line four times and there were two more tries for Taylor Prettijohn.
