Musketeers 48, Teignmouth 0

Honiton Under-13 Musketeers ended 2013 in fine style putting the visitors to the sword with what was a superb display of running rugby in difficult conditions.

Teignmouth arrived having been enjoying a successful campaign to date, and they tackled well, but were unable to stop wave after wave of Honiton pressure.

A brace of tries each in the first half for Williams and Upperdine and one for Woollacott saw Honiton lead 29-0 at the break.

A training ground penalty move early in the second half saw Mandrupson take the

ball up to the try line where quick recycling allowed Bralsford to get on the

scoresheet.

Lewis Nicholas soon followed with a try out wide before Woollacott

rounded off the day darting over from close range.

The Musketeers Man of the Match award went to flanker Oliver Upperdine.

The Musketeers have had a fantastic 2013 and will hope to keep progressing in 2014.
