Taunton 35, Honiton Raptors 5

Honiton Raptors Under-12s came up against a Taunton side unbeaten this season to date, writes Ben Lee.

The commitment and technical development of all the Honiton players was very much in evidence.

Lots of tackles were landed by the team; Samuel Bevan, and Tackle of the Match winner Dominic Bernhardt, leading the way.

Honiton players took intelligent chances with the ball, including William Briant making some valiant running and tackles, George Tomkins accurately booting the ball up the field and playing consistently well, Samuel Rutland showing good forward play and scrimmaging, Riley Burgess improvising in different and new positions and Harry Shepherd and Ben Deam showing their usual discipline and effectiveness everywhere.

Try scorer Samuel Webb was supported in his efforts by the excellent work and aggression of the forwards Owen Willis and James Ashby. Man of the Match went to Taylor Little for outstanding discipline in keeping his position and all round play.
