Honiton RFC U7s and 8s Tag Rugby teams held their first ever presentation day recently which proved to be a great success for both players and parents as it was a fun filled day with a father\son tag rugby game, bouncy castle, face painting and a grand draw, along with all the players being presented with a medal. There were also four cups for individual players from each team which were presented by the vice chairman, Stopper Todd. The cups and medals were a generous donation from Power Shoes in Honiton. This is a relatively new venture for Honiton Rugby Club as it has only been up and running for less than a year but already has over 40 keen players. If anyone is interested in joining, has some spare time to help coach or would like to sponsor them, please contact Alex Bralsford on (01404) 831544. Buying raffle tickets can support the juniors - top prize is a holiday for four in Portugal. Tickets are available from the Paper Shop in New St and The Windmill Garage.
