Honiton under-15s registered their second win of the season with a solid victory over Bridgwater, writes Jerry Rice.

The young Lacemen were quickly into their stride playing up the Allhallows field first and they scored three early tries through Oliver Goodman, Harry Todd and Edward Clemo-Crosby.

They went further ahead when from a cross-field kick, Owen Roe gathered and cantered to the line.

The second half with the slope advantage Honiton should have put the visitors to the sword, but it was Bridgwater who came back strongly, scoring three times to worry the home side.

Honiton regrouped and Clemo-Crosby steady the ship with a score and, with the boat back on course, further tries from Dom Sositha and Shaun Monkhouse, both converted by Ben Phillips, saw Honiton close out a fine 39-19 success.
