Honiton Under-8s took part in the Ivybridge Rugby Festival and the youngsters did themselves, and the club, proud with a terrific all-round performance.
Their first game was against Ivybridge A, who proved to be well-drilled, strong and skilful and they bossed the early exchanges, but Honiton settled into the contest, found their form and rose to the occasion.
Next up was a meeting with Brixham by which time the Honiton side were into a rhythm and beginning to run in tries at will!
Exeter Saracens followed and energy levels remained high, helped by regular substitutions, which ensured that everyone had their time on the field, and provided fresh legs.
Old rivals Cullompton stepped up to ensure a thrilling finale, heroic tagging and great running provided another great game to watch.
Notable individual performances, with a few Honiton players showing that they were using their heads to make the most of opportunities to break through Cullompton's defences.
Certificates and medals were awarded back at the team tent, and parents thanked the hard-working coaches and manager, Tom, Conrad and Adam, for everything that they have done to give us all an enjoyable and rewarding season.
