Honiton Under-9s were winners by the odd try in 29 when they visited Dorchester.

Everyone played their part with Ewan Powers-Maguire leading the way in terms of try scoring, dotting down four times.

Alfie Pike, Tom Phillips Finley Offer-Hoar and Josias Drew crossed the Dorchester whitewash twice each and there were also tries scored by Henry Devlin, Jake Carter and Finley Blackhouse.

A big thank-you was dished out on the morning to four fathers who had stepped in to take over the coaching duties in the place of ‘in the army now’ coach Josh Barratt.

They were Paul Drew, Rowan Morris, Jason Powers-Maguire and Tricky Terry.
