Honiton Under-9s travelled to Sidford to meet teams from Sidmouth.

Whilst not the most successful of outcomes in terms of results, there was plenty of excellent rugby played by the youngsters.

With another healthy turnout in number, Honiton had 18 players available and all the youngsters got plenty of action across the six matches that were played.

Two of the games were won and the other four ended in defeats, one of them by a single score.

There were two players who shared the Honiton Man of the Match award, Olly Morris and Harvey Hannay.

The try scorers on the morning were: Josias Drew and Ewan Powers-Maguire (4), Tom Phillips (3), Tyler Patch (2), Alfie Hutchinson-Pike, Finley Backhouse and Robert Hennessy.
