IMOGEN Boscence, 13, of Honiton, has been selected to play U15s rugby for Devon Girls. Imogen, who is a year nine pupil at Honiton Community College, plays her rugby at Cullompton having begun her playing days at Honiton and she says she 'lives and breathes' rugby! Cullompton is the nearest club fielding girls' teams. Imogen was picked to play in the Devon trials and caught the selectors' eyes for forthcoming matches against Dorset, Gloucester and Cornwall. She spent her early days watching dad Guy playing rugby for Honiton and her brother Lewis currently plays there for the Colts. Guy said: "Imogen is really into the sport. None of her school friends play but she is very determined. She want to play at as high a level as she can." Picture: Terry Ife. ref. 1301-42-08SH.
