Archant

On Sunday, Honiton U14s entertained Welsh touring side Brecon in a closely-contested game. Ben Morris scored two well-taken tries in the first half, one of which he ran virtually the whole length of the field to dot down. Will Tyres got the other for Honiton take a half time lead of 19-7.

The visitors never gave up and scored to bring them right back into the game.

A try for Honiton's Dion Warner steadied the ship and Honiton ran out close winners by 26-17. Hamish O'Brien knocked over three conversions.

It was a great all-round team performance with the pack being dominant through out.

Man of the Match went to fullback Kyle Blackmore who was excellent under the high ball.

It was hard-fought win with all the boys playing their part!
