Seaton entertained Ilminster last Tuesday and went down by a margin of 20 shots, writes Linda Stone.

The best performing home rink was that of Jill Richards, Bob Rutter, Linda Stone and Dave Yardley.

The following day Seaton A travelled to Heavitree B for an Over-60s triples match.

A four shot success (30-26) extended the Seaton A winning run to eleven games!

Seaton had to fight hard to maintain their record against two resilient Heavitree rinks on a very hot afternoon.

The top Seaton triple was Ivor Steer, Keith Miles and Roger Woolland.

Meanwhile the ladies Over-50s triples travelled to Ottery St. Mary where, on an extremely hot afternoon, they were beaten on both rinks.
