Seaton Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club have received a grant from Viridor Credits that has made a big difference to the club.
A sum of £11,144.67 has helped the club repair a leaking pavilion roof, re-surface a badly pitted access road into the cub car park and electronically digitize the scoreboard.
Cricket cairman Chris Gamwell said: “Ware extremely grateful to Viridor Credits for their generous grant to this community club without which we could not have carried out these improvements to our club facilities.
“We are grateful also to Lyme Bay Law of Seaton for funding 10 per cent of the total cost of the project in a partnership with Viridor Credits.”
Representing Viridor Credits, Gareth Williams said: “We are proud to assist local sporting community clubs in improving their facilities which is essential if young people are to be encouraged to play sport and develop their personalities.”
