Seaton II were 39-run winners over Shobrooke Park II in Mid Devon.
Tim Mitchell top scored with 76 and Andy Carter chipped in with 31 in the Seaton offering of 188-7.
George Harwood and Ian Hunt the both claimed three wicket hauls as the home side were restricted to 149-8 in their reply.
The win, coupled with there being just one other positive result in D Division (East), leaves Seaton II second in the table, three points behind leaders Axminster II and four clear of third placed Countess Wear II.
On Saturday the 2nd XI play an East Devon derby when they entertain Whimple II who sit third bottom in the table with three wins and eight defeats from 13 outings so far this term.
