Three Shotokan karate students from the Seaton Martial Arts centre recently attended a grading session at the regional headquarters in Newton Abbot.

All were successful in passing their examination, earning themselves a certificate and a new belt.

The successful trio were; Max Douglas who bagged red belt - 8th kyu, Paul Thompson who gained a yellow belt - 7th kyu and Daisy Graysmark who secured a green belt - 6th kyu.

The trio are all students of sensei Jim Harvey who is a black belt – 3rd dan.
