Seaton Bowls Club staged the 2015 Perham Shield competition, writes Linda Stone.
The Perham family were keen bowlers at Seaton Bowling Club and they kindly sponsored the Perham Trophy and Perham Cup for many years.
This year it was decided to amalgamate the two and change it to a mixed event. Teams from the surrounding bowling clubs came to Seaton and played a round robin game in glorious sunshine.
A cream tea was laid on for everyone and was much appreciated by all.
The eventual winners were a team from Chardstock, congratulations to them.
