In a recent County President’s game versus Crediton it was a Seaton quartet who ended the match as the top rink, writes Linda Stone.

Congratulations, and well done, to Lillian Hurley-Smith, Keith Miles, Terry Hurley-Smith and Joan Miles.

Last Wednesday Seaton A stretched their unbeaten run to 14 games in Division Three of the Over-60s Triples League when they defeated Budleigh Salterton A by 24 shots (46-22) and, in so doing, consolidated their position at the top of the table.

The top triple was that of Alan Wood, Roy Carnell and Roger Woolland who won by 16 shots.

After a disappointing loss away to Chardstock A the previous week, Seaton Over-60s B bounced back with a 47-21, eight point, home win against Axminster. Top triple was Mike Clarke, Keith Miles and Dave Yardley.

The end of the week was very wet and Seaton’s men’s Perham Cup was rained off.

Saturdays game against Tiverton Bowls Club was cancelled as they were unable to field a team.
