The Seaton week started with a friendly game against Tiverton Bowling Club, writes Linda Stone.

Five triples travelled to Mid Devon where they enjoyed a really close encounter, eventually won 81-73 by the hosts.

Seaton’s top triple were G Thomas, A Carter and M Vessey who secured a 23-7 victory.

Last Wednesday an Over-60s triples game for the Seaton A side ended in a 45-21 success at home to Dunkeswell. The top Seaton triple was the one David Ford, Roy Carnell and Roger Woolland.

Two days later the club hosted a Bowls Devon Over-60s singles match played between two Seaton bowlers.

Roger Woolland got off to a flying start which saw him always ahead of club mate Terry Hurley-Smith.

All at Seaton wish winner Roger the very best of luck in the next round.
