Seaton claimed an eighth win of the C Division East season to continue their march to top four finish.
Visitors Barnstaple and Pilton were put in and laboured their way to 116-9 with Chris Aplin and Joel Seward each bagging a brace of wickets.
Seward then hit 24 in support of Mark Bray, who top scored with 40 and the winning line was crossed with just four wickets down.
On Saturday Seaton play their final home game of the league season when they entertain Alphington and they bring the curtain down on another campaign the week after at champions elect Ottery St Mary.
