In a friendly away at Teignmouth, Seaton Bowls Club won by one shot, top rink was Hillary Sunderland, Kevin Prescott, Lin Allison, and Elaine Dumble, who along with her husband Peter, were playing in their first club match.

Seaton also defeated Axminster by one shot, top rink was Peter Grigg, Joy Hawkins, and Glen Elliott. the Ladies over 50`s team had a good away win at Sidmouth with the top rink being Linda Stone, Chris Barradale, and Joy Hawkins.

The men`s over 60’s C team won handsomely at home against Wellington, including a fine performance by Alan Balchin, Pierre Anton, and laidback Reg Pluck, The B team defeated Madeira B, as Colin Musto, Rob Hudson, and evergreen Ed Backhouse came through as top rink. The A team at home playing Madeira A drew an exciting game that went right down to the last shot with Glen Elliott, Ken Shean, and Phil Critchard coming through as top rink.
