There was a day off for Seaton Town on Saturday.

Their inactivity and a 2-0 win for St Martins over East Budleigh leaves Town just three points ahead of the Exminster side who have three games in hand on the Colyford Road outfit.

Town have the chance to extend their lead to six points when they travel to third placed Topsham Town on Saturday and St Martins are without a game.

It is beginning to look increasingly likely as if Town will miss out on the top honour again, just as they did twelve months ago when Sidmouth Town won the title.

However, this year Town know that a second place finish will propel them into the South West Peninsula league.

To bag a top two berth they must avoid defeat at Topsham Town on Saturday.
