Seaton Town AFC has named Brendon Willey as their new first team coach and the club has also named the day for a return to pre-season training.

Town launch preparations for a new Macron League top flight campaign on Tuesday, July 4, at the club’s Colyford Road home with a 6.30pm start.

Thereafter training will be every Tuesday and Thursday until the season proper kicks-off on Saturday, August 19. All old and new players welcome. Meanwhile, the club has also announced that the 2017 annual general meeting will be held at the club on Wednesday, July 5 with a 7.30pm start.

In terms of pre-season matches already arranged, Town host Forton Rangers on July 8 with a 2.30pm kick-off, they have another match day on July 15 against opponents yet to be named. There’s a double header of matches for first and second teams on Saturday, July 22 with the senator side hosting Sidmouth Town Reserves (2.30pm) and the second team entertaining Sidmouth Town’s new fourth team (4pm).

There’s another double-header on July 29 with the 1st team taking on Perry Street (2.30pm) and the second team hosting Perry Street reserves (4pm). Friday, August 4, sees Town hosts Axminster Town (6.45pm) before a mixed Town XI will entertain Heavitree United on August 12 (2.30pm).
