Seaton Town Under-12s had a busy, and successful past week.
It began with a narrow 2-1 defeat at the hands of Tiverton side Moors Youth which put an end to their title chances and during the week fought back against Exeter side Central City to earn a 4-4 draw which kept their promotion chances alive.
On Saturday morning they faced local opponents Ottery St Mary, the match started in torrential rain, but Seaton played very well and were 3-0 up at the break with Reece McCabe netting two goals and Drew Aedo-Smith one. In the second half Ottery fought back with two goals, but Seaton held strong scoring two themselves, a very cheeky chip over the goalie by Reece McCabe and another goal for Drew Aedo-Smith to give them a deserved 5-2 triumph.
The win meant Seaton have sealed the runners-up berth in Division Two which is also a passport to play in the top division of the Under-13 age group next season.
