Beer Albion 1, Seaton Town 4 Seaton Town climbed into a top three Fresha League Premier Division berth for the first time this season with an emphatic triumph in a well-contested East Devon derby.
Find of the season, arguably in the entire Fresha top flight, Peter Knox, bagged a brace for Town who had led 3-0 before the Fishermen reduced the arrears with a Mike Wheeler goal.
Alex Wheatley and Josh French were the other Town scorers.
Town are now unbeaten in seven Fresha games with their last defeat being a late October 4-2 reversal at Topsham Town.
The win was an eighth in 14 Fresha outings this term so far for Keith Somers team and they play their 15th on Saturday when they entertain Budleigh Salterton.
They follow that with back-to-back away games with visits to Thorverton on January 11 and a week later to University.
